SHORE BRIDGE PROPOSAL PROMISE TO MOVERS

Within the next fortnight the quesion of inquiring into the possibilities of the Auckland Harbour bridge will be investigated. This promise was secured from the D rime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, by Mr. R. H. Greville, president of the harbour Bridge Association, and Mr. Jones, honorary engineer, who have just returned from Wellington to Auckland. Sir Joseph said that he 'as waiting for a report on the assoiation’s suggestion concerning the ersonnel of a commission, and in nnection with borings required.
