“WINGS”—A NEW PUBLICATION

MOTORING AND FLYING “Wings” is the name of a publication in the interests of aviation and motoring that has just been issued in Auckland. It is incorporated with the “New Zealand Motor Life” and presents views of automobile associations and prominent flying pilots. Advocacy of the production will be still on the side of better roads, with a coordinated transport system, and at the same time appeals will be made for the co-operation of land and air forces in peace, war and commerce. In the current issue there are several interesting articles on air transport and the possibilities of commercial aviation in the Dominion. Items are also given concerning the work of the Auckland Aero Club. Undoubtedly ono of the most important features of the publication is the section dealing with flying as a business or pastime, which is making tremendous strides in the Dominion-
