NO UNITED CAUCUS

MEMBERS AWAIT CALL LABOUR MEETS TODAY (THE SUN'S Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. So far there is no mention at all of the holding of a caucus by the Government Party, and it is now unlikely that there will be one at all, although an informal meeting of the party will be held tomorrow morning. The only person who can decide whether the party can hold a conference or not is the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Sir Joseph Ward. Even the members of the party do not know whether they will be summoned together in caucus or not. and there are whispers round the House of a “oneman party’.” Labour will meet tomorrow, it is understood, but. as the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates is still on the West Coast, it is not certain when the Reform Party w’ill meet.
