MOTOR-CYCLIST HURT KNOCKED FROM MACHINE Press Association CARTERTON, Wednesday. j A young man, Joseph Spicer, aged IS, a son of Mr. W. Spicer, Anderson’s Line, met with a serious accident yesterday afternoon. * When riding a motor-cycle he attempted to pass two young horses being led to a paddock. One lashed out and its hoof struck Spicer on the jaw. The cyclist was picked up and taken home unconscious. Dr. Morton was called in. His examination showed that injuries included a fractured jaw, concussion and head injuries. Spicer was admitted to the Masterton Hospital. The latest report states that the sufferer has regained consciousness.
