The annual conference of the I\ew Returned Soldiers' AssocialOQ opened yesterday in the "Wellington Town Hall. The*Mayor, Mr. G. A. r°up, extended to delegates a welcome to the citv. b. J. Jacobs, of Palmerston * was voted to the chair. The report and balance sheet was adopted, and the following motion Passed relating to the illness oi n * King: —‘ That this annual confer*nce of New Zealand ex-servicemen deto express to his Majesty the F. 5 its gratification ui>pn 1113 ’Sajeaty-s return to healths’*
