BLAZE IN LAUNDRY

CHINESE BURNED ON HANDS Press Association DUNEDIN. Tuesday. Fire broke out this afternoon in a Chinese laundry in Highgate, Roslyn, a few doors from the Roslyn fire station. The laundryman, Shun Chang Lee, was using petrol in a bottle, when the spirit became ignited. He attempted to put out the flames, but was burned about the face and hands. The brigade extinguished the lire before any great damage had been done. The Chinese was taken to hospital, but he is reported to be not seriously burned.
