REMARKABLE TRANSFUSION OF BLOOD A WOULD-BE SUICIDE (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. VIENNA, Monday. Remarkable blood transfusion saved a workman who had attempted suicide from dying; through loss of blood. At the critical moment a young woman was brought in dying as the result of a motor accident. The doctor listened till her heart beat ceased. Her blood was immediately pumped into the veins of the would-be suicide, who was revitalised in 10 minutes. It is believed t.o be the first, case of its kind in medical history.
