\ VIVID LIGHTNING DISPLAY J; (From Our Oven Correspondent) 1 KAITAIA, Today. A magnificent display of lightning Commenced at 2.30 this morning, and lasted for two hours. Violent peals of thunder shook the houses, alarming the residents, many of whom left their beds. The lightning illuminated the whole Countryside. Torrential rain followed, three-quarters of an inch, falling in jPwo hours. ,
