WAIUKU HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
The annual meeting of the Waiuku H. and I. Society was held at Waiuku I on Friday night, the president, Mr. C. | Buttimore, presiding. ! A motion that the Kennel and Poultry Club should be run separatelv from the H. and I. Society was defeated, the majority of the members being of the opinion that it would be too difficult to run the two societies separately. The following officers were elected: Patron. Mr J. N. Bonnar; vice-presi-dent, Mr. S. Bonnar; vice-president*: ] Messrs. A. L. Hull and W. E. Jerram; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. E. J. Fitchett: M. and I. committee, Mesdames G. V. Williams. J. R. Eddy, W. S. Neal, A. L*. Hull and Miss D. Hay, Messrs. Jos. Barriball, C. Buttimore (ex officio). S. N. West, C. J. West, R. J. Barriball, R. S. Xaylor, T. Allcock’ . £ll a he, 11. M. Burridail, Revs. W. S. Neal and T. A. Speer; kennel and poultry, Messrs. <\ Buttimore (ex officio). H. M. Barriball. E. J. Copa* F Fitchett, C. J. West. R. J. Barriball. •T. A. Blake. W. H. McXaughton (with power to add); auditor, Mr. W. E. Jerra m. After considerable discussion it was decided that the kennel and poultry show should not bo held this year.
