CHINESE CYCLIST HURT

KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTORCAR WOMAN DRIVER IN ACCIDENT While motor-cycling toward Onehunga along the Manukau Road about 1.30 this afternoon, a Chinese market gardener, Wah Sun, was injured when his machine came into collision with a motor-car driven by a woman. The accident occurred at Wah Sun was passing the corner of Onslow Road. He was knocked off his machine by the par, which was a light model, and had his right leg broken, and received severe concussion of the brain. The St. John Ambulance took him to the Auckland Hospital in a fialry serious condition. He lives in Favona Road, Mangere.
