NEW LYNN SMASH
TRAIN HITS MOTOR A level-crossing smash occurred at midnight at New Lynn. Fortunately no one was injured. A motor-car driven by Mr. Edmund James Stewart, of 615 M&nukau Road, collided with a train from Auckland to Swanson. The car was damaged by the force of the blow, but Mr. Stewart escaped injury*
