FISHERMEN COMPLAIN OF PROPOSALS To discuss the proposal to restrict seine-net fishing in the Hauraki Gulf, a meeting of the Auckland Net and Line Fishermen’s Association (incorporated) was held yesterday afternoon. Mr. G. H. Knaggs presiding. The meeting decided to “take steps to oppose the factors working against them." The fishermen complained that their fields were being gradually limited.
