BOUQUET OF ROSES

MAID IN FROCK OF PALEST PRIMROSE KNAPPING—BRADBURY A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Andrew's Church, Symonds Street, on Wednesday evening, when Charlotte Annie, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Bradbury, of Kimpton Road, Papatoetoe, was married to Ivan Frank, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Knapping, of Flat Bush, Papatoetoe. The bride was given away by her father, and looked very charming in a gown of ivory georgette, fashioned with a slender fitting bodice, and a full tiered skirt, finished With rosebud trimmings. Her pretty embroidered tulle veil was arranged so as to fall in a train, it being held in place with clusters of orange blossoms. She carried an exquisite bouquet of pale shaded rosebuds mingled with fern. Miss Phyllis Bradbury, sister of the bride, attended her in a picture frock of pale primrose crepe de chine, finished with inlets of silver lame. Her head-dress was a bandeau of tiny golden leaves, harmonising with her bouquet.

Little Jean Clayton was a pretty flower-girl, frocked in forget-me-not blue crepe de chine, trimmed with tiny posies. She wore a head-dress of tulle to match her frock, and carried a basket of small flowers.

The bridegroom was attended by Mr L. Stonex, and the Rev. T. H Roseveare performed the marriage ceremony. Dr. Craston presided at the organ.

The reception was held at the rooms of J. Buchanan, Symonds Street. The bride’s mother was frocked in wedgwood blue crepe alonza, with hat to tone, and wore fox furs. Mrs. Knapping, mother of the groom, was smartly attired in a black draped georgette frock, with small black hat. She carried a bouquet of violets. The bride travelled in rose beige Jersey velour, worn under a cloth furtrimmed coat. Her close fitting felt hat was of matching shade. Among the guests were: Mesdames J. R. Bradbury, R. Bradbury, S. A. Andrew, J. Andrew, R. Linkhorn, G H. Walker, E. H. Smith, G. Walker, T. H Roseveare, W. H. Ormiston. T D. Ormiston, and W. E. ClaytonMisses L. Knapping, F. Bradbury J. Patterson, L. Bradbury, V.
