SPARK CAUSES FIRE
A spark from the kitchen range setting alight to some clothes, which were being dried, started a fire which caused slight damage to the kitchen | of a house owned by John Burns, ; Limited, and occupied by Mrs. Cuth- • bert, in Alten Road, off Symonds Street, about 8 o’clock last evening. ; The City Fire Brigade was called and [ prevented the fire from spreading.
