RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM

“WHY BE GOOD?” America’s care-free, unchaperoned super-sophisticated, and scornful of propriety, is colourfully pictured in “Why Be Good?” in which Colleen Moore plays the stellar role. It will be shown at the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) Theatres for the last time this evening. At the Rialto Theatre, Newmarket, only, the famous big-game hunter, Paul Pedrini, will appear with his Royal Zambezi baboons. At the Regent Theatre, Epsom, a second attraction will be provided m the Hoot Gibson picture, “King of the Rodeo.” PONSONBY DRILL HALL DANCE A dance will be held in the Ponsonby Drill Hall again this evening, conducted by the 15th North Auckland Regimental Colours Fund Committee to raise funds for the purchase of colours. The floor is one of the largest for dancing in Auckand, and the music will be supplied by Len. Meredith’s Adelphi Band. There are a number of novelties and special dances.
