SEPARATION AFTER 22 YEARS WIFE SECURES DIVORCE Because they could not agree Mary Brooklartd and George Brookland separated after 22 years’ married life. fpHIS morning, in the Supreme Court, Mr. Justice Blair granted Mary Brookland a decree nisi in her, petition for divorce, on a ground of mutual separation. Petitioner, who was represented by Mr. J. F. W. Dickson, said that she was married in April, 1902, and there were three children, now all over 21, of the marriage. At Auckland, in December, 1924, separation was agreed on. “My husband went and boarded,” petitioner said. “I have been living with my daughter. My husband lias kept me, but I have not seen him since we separated.” Petitioner’s daughter said that the separation had been mutual. For Brookland, Mr. R. A. Singer did not raise any objection to the evidence.
