MARY PICKFORD’S SUCCESS Picturegoers and admirers of Mary Picklord are very curious to see her and hear her voice in her first alltalking picture, "Coquette/* an intensely emotional drama, and one of the greatest stage successes of the day. "Coquette** is at present being performed on the London legitimate stage by a J. C. Williamson Company. Mary’s voice is hailed by leading reviewers as the golden voice of the screen, and she has astonished them by her gift for emotional acting. Little Mary Pickford of the screen has crossed the bridge leading from childhood to womanhood. With firm fingers she has closed the book of her film little-girlhood, and opened the r.ew volume of her womanhood with tremendous success, according to notices in tho American Press now coming to hand. “Coquette" will have its premiere screening in Auckland very shortly.
