OTAHUHU ORPHANS’ CLUB

Vice-President Bro. C. B. W. Seton presided over a large attendance of members of the Otahuhu Orphans’ Club at the fortnightly evening held at Otahuhu on Tuesday. The chairman extended a cordial welcome to the official guests of the evening, Bro. F. A. Hosking, president, Bro. S. R. Day, vice-president, and Bro. W. J. Short, secretary, and the executive officers of the Pukekohe Orphans’ Club.

An enjoyable programme of musical items was opened with the overture “Po*et and Peasant” by the club’s orchestra, under the leadership of Bro. Edwin Parker. Other items were contributed by Bros. George Queen, J. Bree, Fryer-Raisher, C. Reader, Tamo Tanui and McKivett. Bro. J. Hutton was accompanist.
