O’BRIAN’S “REVELLERS”
AT ST. JAMES ON THURSDAY Frank O’Brian’s company of popular London comedians will appear at the St. James Theatre on Thursday evening with their new programme of songs, dances, and sketches. The Revellers Company, which is headed by Frank O’Brian and Janice Hart, includes a particularly fine jazz band of seven players, known as Tiny Douglas’s Varsity Boys, who have an extensive repertoire of novel items as being credited with knowing all the latest pieces. The remainder of the company comprises Bert Lee, Mabelle Morgan. Joe Hudson, Ernie Brooks, Marie Ward, and Gordon Norville, all of whom have established themselves as bright and clever entertainers. In addition, there is a well-trained ballet of eight. Janice Hart and Frank O'Brian will introduce a number of new and delightfully amusing playlets, and by all accounts this company should prove extremely popular with all lovers of revue.
