STRUCK BY TRUCK

VISITORS TO HOSPITAL INJURED ACCIDENT THIS MORNING While crossing Pitt Street at the Karangahape Road end about 10.45 this morning Miss Mary Davidson and M'r. Harold Clive McKinnon were knocked down by a motor-truck driven by a Chinese. They were on their way from the Auckland Hospital, where Mr. McKinnon, who is aged 21, is an outpatient. Miss Davidson, who is aged 23, lives at 5 Colli ngvvood Street, Ponsonby. She received injuries to her right hip where the truck passed over it, and Mr. McKinnon was bruised by being flung: on to the road.

They were taken back to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance.
