TE AWAMUTU HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

The following were present at a meeting of the newly-elected committee of the Te Awamutu Horticultural Society on Thursday evening: Mr. A. J. Shepherd was in the chair, Mesdames Dawson and Collins, Messrs. Cocker. Williams, Bockett, Davis, Reynolds and Gifford.

It was decided to issue members’ season tickets for two shows, spring and autumn, at ss, and also family tickets at 12s Od.

Sub-committees were set up to deal with the work of the society, and other sub-committees to revise both schedules. which it is hoped to have printed and issued early in August. No exhibitor will be charged more than ss, no matter how many exhibits he may have.

The shows will be held in the Town Hall and will be in conjunction with the St. John’s Ladies’ Guild and Girls' Club.
