PAPATOETOE TOWN BAND

GALA NIGHT HELD By the courtesy of Air. A. E. Meikle, the Papatoetoe Town Band held a very enjoyable gala night in the Papatoetoe Town Hall on Saturday evening. During the earlier part of the evening an enjoyable programme of pictures was shown, after which the hail was cleared and dancing was indulged in to the strains of an orchestra under the leadership of Mrs. A. M. Collings. A couple of extras were provided by the band, under the baton of Bandmatter De Clifton. Paper-hats and spot waltzes added gaiety to the very ova hie function.
