PUPUKB LADIES’ CLUB The draw for Mrs. Mulligan’s trophy to be played tomorrow by junior players of the I’upuke Ladies’ Golf Club is as follows: —Mrs. Foote v. Mrs. Darlow, Miss E. Lorie v. Miss Harty, Mrs. Leighton v. Mrs. Mills, Mrs. Allen v. Mrs. Herbert, Mrs. Weller v. Mrs. Chisholm, Mrs. Mowbray v. Mrs. Littlejohn, Mrs. Scurr v. Mrs. Quick, Mrs. Howe v. Mrs. Skeet, Miss J. Parker v. another. The last L.G.U. medal round was won by Mrs. Blomfield. 93, 25—68. The next best cards were: Mrs. Clark, 95. 22—73; Mrs. Littlejohn, 109, 36 —73. The senior approaching and putting competition resulted in a tie between Miss McDonald and Miss 33. O’Neill. The junior competition also resulted in a tie between Mrs. Quick and. Mrs. Darlow. Mrs. Goldwater was the winper of Mrs. Thompson's trophy and Miss A. O’Neill won Mrs. Atwood’s prize for the putting competition. PAPAKURA CLUB Following were the best net scores returned in the first round for the Ryan Cup played by members of the Papakura Golf Club; G. A. Smith. 67; Beams. 69; Bridgman, 72 ; D. HAMILTON LADJES’ CLUB The first round for the Douglas Cup will be played by members of the Hamilton Ladies’ Golf Club tomorrow under handicap match play on three-quarters difference in handicap, stymies to be played. The first three rounds must be played on the fixed Wednesdays. After then a fortnight will be allowed for each match. The new score eai'ds will be used. WAIUKU CLUB In the semi-final of the Duff Cup competition Ohlson beat Munro. 4 up and 2, and will play the winner of Howden and Bloomfield in the final. In the semi-final of the Forbes Cup, Roscoe beat Morris, 2 up, Kidd beat Flavell. 2 up. A bogey match between those eliminated from the above competitions was won by Colbeck. who returned a card of 4 up. The best of the other cards handed in were: Hill, 1 up; Ducker, 1 down. TAUMARUNUI CLUB A bogey handicap was played over last week, the result being a win for E. M. Coker with 4 up, and F. Groom second with 3 up. The draw has been announced for the qualifying round of the competition for the captain’s trophy. This draw also covers the first of three rounds for a trophy presented, by Mr. Norrie Bell.
