TANIWHA, TOO!
Sir* — Two correspondents in The Sun last evening - were discussing the possibility of the Maoris having eaten moas. One of them had discovered bones, in an ancient hangi, which -were claimed to be those of the moa. Might these not have been taniwha ribs? I am informed that a Porterhouse taniwha steak was regarded as kapai te kai, served with liu-hu sauce. CORDON BLEU.
