VISIT TO ENGLAND
’CHANGE MEMBER HONOURED On the eve of his departure on an extended trip to Great Britain, Mr. F. J- Whittaker was bade farewell by mem bers of the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Mr. Whittaker, who has been associated with the Exchange for 30 years, was presented with a. travelling trunk and a set of pipes. „ The chairman of the ’Change, Mr. G. C. Creagh, said that Mr. Whittaker had earned the sincere esteem of his fellow-members. On behalf of the members lie wished Mr. Whittaker a pleasant trip abroad. Replying, Mr. Whittaker said he would always retain happy recollections of the years he had spent as a member of the Exchange, and would recall with pleasure the friendships it had enabled him to make.
