FEILDING STOCK SALE
FEILDING, Friday. There was a good yarding of fat lambs at the Feilding stock sale today and small yardings of other fat stock. Lambs met with good demand. Prices were:—Sheep: Fat woolly v/hite face -lambs, 27s 7d to 30s Id; black face lambs. 25s 2d; others, 20s 6d to 325; prime fat ewes, 22s 5d to 29s 6d; fat wethers, 30s 6d to 325; store wetner lambs, 17s to 18s; woolly black face lambs, ISs Id to 21s Id; rape lambs, 14s Id; five-year ewes in lamb, 30s sd: fat forward ewes. 20s Id; empty ewes, 13s Id to 16s Sd. Cattle; Springing Jersey heifers, £lO 10s; Holstein cows at profit, £l6; Jersey cows in calf. £I2T to £l4; Jersey weaner heifers, £2 to £5 ss; forward cows, £2 2s 6d to £5 14s; lat cows, £5 5s to £9 10s.
