ROTORUA VISIT
PRIME MINISTER’S TOUR ADDRESS THIS EVENING The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. Sir Joseph Ward, left this morning for Rotorua, where he will deliver a public address this evening. While in Rotorua he will inquire into bath-house questions. HE will return to Auckland tomorrow and will leave for Wellington on Sunday. Sir Joseph expects to remain in Wellington until the opening of the session. MINISTERS’ MOVEMENTS The Hon. W. B. Taverner. Minister of Railways, left Auckland this morning by car on an inspection of the Pokeno-Paeroa railway route. He will be the guest of the Paeroa Borough Council at lunch, and will catch the Limited at Frankton this evening on his way to Wellington. The Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, Minister of Health, accompanied the Minister of Railways today on his inspection of the Pokeno-Paeroa railway route, and this evening will travel to Wellington. Next week Mr. Stallworthy will visit the West Coast of the South Island, at the invitation of Mr. H. E. Holland, M.P., and should return to Auckland about a week before the session opens. The Hon. H. Atmore, Minister of Education, visited schools at North Shore today, having been to the Mangere and Papatoetoe schools yesterday. He will attend the annual dinner of the Auckland Headmasters’ Association this evening, and tomorrow will receive deputations. On Sunday he will attend a Roman Catholic School function at Te Aroha. and will be leaving Auckland for North Auckland on Monday. Mr. At more expects to be back in Nelson about June 17.
