MARTON RACING CLUB

; WINTER MEETING WANTED (Special to THE SUN) MARTON, Thursday. The Marton Jockey Club lias just concluded a most successful year and the prospects for the future are bright indeed. The club has assets to the value of over £ 14,000 and while the balance sheet showed a loss on the year’s operations of £ 80, permanent improvements were effected to the course to the value of oyer JC 300. It has been decided to revert back to the two-dav spring meeting, but the club is hopeful of securing one of the extra permits which are shortly to be allocated, and then hold a May meeting.
