SPANIARD DEFEATED
CHOCOLATE BEATS GREGORIO AT PHILADELPHIA NEW YORK, Thursday. In a boxing contest at Philadelphia ‘Kid” Chocolate (11921 b) won a 19round decision from Vidal Gregorio, of Spain (11741 b). The decision was most unpopular, for the Spaniard made a sensational recovery in the last three rounds. The judges decided that Chocolate, with his fierce blows, had inflicted the greater punishment in the rain-soaked ring.
