THAMES HALF-HOLIDAY
(From Our Own Correspondent) THAMES, Today. On Saturday the Thames Borough Council issued a circular letter to the business houses observing Saturday half-holiday. The letter points out the confusion and inconvenience to country people by some shops observing Thursday and the others Saturday. The council is desirous of having the town pull together, and is not making the request on behalf of either party. 4. special meeting of the council will be held this week, and a reply has been requested from circularised.
