TREACHEROUS TRIBES
AMANULLAH EXPLAINS HIS DEFEAT (United Service) Reed. 11 a.m. DELHI, Sunday. The ex-King Amanullah of Afghanistan, interviewed at Bombay, emphatically denied the rumour that owing to the defeat of his forces he left Afghanistan. He considered himself unsuccessful owing to the treachery and faithlessness of certain tribes during the course of the march on Kabul against Raccliasakao and “his band of thieves.”
