PHILISTINES HOLD CHEERY REVEL

SUCCESSFUL GATHERING The Philistines’ Club held its second revel of this season in the Amateur Oepratic Society’s Hall on Saturday evening. Mr. C. D. McLean was in the chair and a very enjoyable programme had been arranged. The artists contributing were: Miss K. Christie, Mr. R. Richards and Mr. Ernest Snell, songs: Mr. Ban Flood and Mr. Alan MacElwain, huomorus items; Miss Maida Hooker, piano solos: Mr. Ron Mustori. violin solos; and the Snappy Three, Miss B. Poulton. Mr. A. Birch and Mr. A. Prentice. The accompanists were Air B. E. Birds, Miss Alaida Hooker and Aliss Lilian Quinn. After the supper the remainder of the evening was spent in dancing.
