TAURUA FETCHES I.O2SGNS. (From Our Own Correspondent J H HAMILTON, Today. At a dispersal sale at Te Rapa yesterday of the Hinuera stud of thoroughbred horses, the property of Mr. W. C. Ring and Dr. W. C. Ring, the top price realised was 1,025 guineas for Taurua, a two-year-old bay colt, which was purchased by Mr. J. T. Jamieson, Papakura. Other good prices were 240 guineas for Talyrian, which was bought by Wright, Stephenson and Co. on behalf of a Southern client, and 127§ guineas for Fraisetta, a bay mare, purchased by Mr. J. Gleeson, Taranaki. TROTTING FIXTURES Hawke's Bay T.C.—June 1-3. Canterbury Park T.C.—June 1-3. Ashburton T.C.—June 8. Auckland T.C.—June 22-24.
