WETTING IN HARBOUR
FERRY PASSENGER’S FALL Eager to catch the 6.25 p.m. ferry to Birkenhead, a would-be passenger took a flying leap from the city wharf just as the boat was leaving last evening. He fell short by a foot or so, and splashed into the harbour. A lifebuoy was thrown from the wharf, and Captain Lynch put the ferry boat back. The unlucky passenger was pulled on board and taken home.
