WAIUKU RETURNED SOLDIERS

ANNUAL REUNION HELD (From Oar Own Correspondent J AIUKU, Thursday. The 11th annual reunion of the Waiuku Returned Soldiers’ Association was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Waiuku. on Wednesdav. The president, Lieut.-Col. M. Aldred, presided o'er an attendance of about 60 members. After all were seated each man rose and gave his name, number and the regiment to which he belonged at the war. At least 15 different units were represented. An excellent programme was contributed by the following artists: Messrs. D. Flood, R. Richards, R. Mayhead, F. O’Hara and G. May. Expressions of appreciation ~ and thanks were accorded the ladies for the excellent manner in which they had laid out and decorated the tables.
