BIG LOAN PROPOSAL (From Our Oxen Correspondent) TAURANGA, Thursday. The Tauranga Electric-Power Board has decided to go to the ratepayers for r». loan of £30,000 for extending the reticulation over the outlying areas of tho county; 130 new consumers have applied for connection. It is proposed to approach the Borough Council for a reduction in the cost of energy and the General Purposes Committee will report on the question to the board at the next meeting.
