SHOES FOR WINTER
LOCAL FACTORY MEETS DEMAND With the approach of winter, practically the whole of the activities of Messrs. G. A. Coles and Co., Ltd.. Auckland’s leading boot manufacturing firm, are devoted to supplying the demand for winter shoes. Men’s shoes for winter are much heavier with stout, waterproof soles, while ladies’ shoes are demanded in golfs and brogues, and in the latest shades of browns. Messrs. G. A. Coles and Co.. Ltd . wish to thank the public for its support of the famous “Patriata” and other brands. Because of this support from the public, the factory has had to put on extra hands, thus helping in some measure to relieve the unemployment. The factory is equipped with the most modern machinery and plant available on the world’s markets, and has a staff thoroughly trained in all the branches of the industry. The capacity of the factory is equal to turning out 4.000 to 5,000 pairs of boots a week. The highest grade New Zealand leathers are mostly used and the greatest care is exercised for the ladles* ! shoes in securing the very latest Paris 1 and London designs, shapes and col- ; ours.
