FEILDING STOCK SALE
FEILDING, Friday. At the Feilding stock sale today there was a large yarding of fat and store sheep. Prices showed no advance on late rates, as the quality was not of the best. Prices were:—Fat sheep: Black face lambs, 22s 7d to 26s 6d; white face lambs, 25s 6d; ewes, 21s to 27s 4d; wethers, 34s lOd to 365: extra prime wethers, 395; twotooth wethers, 2Ss 4d to 395. Store sheep: Black face lambs, 11s 6d to 17s 6d: white face lambs, 18s Id; ewe lambs, 11s lOd; mixed se > s, 16s; two-tootli wethers, 28s 3d to 325; culls, 12s; two-tooth ewes, running with Romney rams, 39s Id to 33s 9d; ewes, running with Southdown rams. 34s 6d to 39s 7d; two, four and six-tooth ewes, running with Southdown rams, 29s 2d: four and five-year ewes. 25s to 29s i Od. Prices for cattle were: Pfeifers at profit, £9 to £l2; heifers .in milk, £l2; springing heifers, £9 to £lO 15s; small late calvers, £6 7s 6d to £S 2s 6d: springing cows, £7 10s to £S; Holstein-cross weaner heifers. £4; weaner heifers, 50s to £4 11s 6d: store cows, £3 7s 6d to £3 12s 6d; store Jersey cows, £4 15s; black cows, £ S ss; fat heifers, £8 13s: fat cows, £S Jersey cows, £6 5s to £5 15s; bullocks, to £lO.
