(From Our Own Correspondent) WELLINGTON, Friday. The fortnightly sale of hides, skins and j tallow was held today. There was the usual attendance of buyers and a fair clearance was effected. The following is the range of prices:— Dry .Sheepskins.—Half bred, 12Jd; fine crossbred, to 14j>d; medium crossbred, to 13d; coarse crossbred, 10;ld to half wools, Sid to 113 d; quarter wools, 8d to llid; pelts, Sid to 10id. Salted Skins—Quarter wools, fs 2d to 6s 4d; half wools, 4s 2d to Ss 7d; threequarter wools, Ss Dd to 9s Bd;T full wools, 9s 5d to 9s lid; lambs, 3s to 7s 2d. Hides.—Compared with prices at the last sale, heavy and medium were id to id a lb lower; light, kip and yearling, un- | changed; calf, slightly easier.
