PAT HANNA’S DIGGERS
AT ST. JAMES THIS EVENING This evening at the St. James Theatre, Pat Hanna and his Famous “Diggers” Revue Company will put across tho'-footlights a brilliant new programme, which for bright musical numbers, effective humour and sparkling ballets, will, it is declared, chal lenge comparison with previous programmes. Pat Hanna ( Chic ) and Joe Valli (Joe), as usual, will keep the fun fast and furious. This famous, company has been adding laurels to its reputation all round Australia since it was last liere. Their entertainment, while somewhat of trie revue type, still maintains its distinctive “Diggers” nature with a number of short sketches with a humorous war-time background. ... . Thefe will be plenty of musical and vocal items sprinkled throughout the programme. Among those who contribute are Ernest Kopke (tenor), Jack Thomson (baritone), Stan Lawson, Iza Crossley, Adele Taylor and Micky Phillips. Hilda and Jessie Meadows will offer a selection of musical gems. Dance specialties will be introduced by the exquisite ballet. The box plans are now open.
