GIFT TO ACCOUNTANT
GRATEFUL CLIENTS The accountant of the Auckland branch of the Commercial Bank of Australia, Mr. Henry F. Clarke, who is leaving in a few weeks to take up a position in the bank’s headquarters at Melbourne, received a presentation yesterday from some of the bank’s clients. Captain W. Ross, on behalf of the clients, presented Mr. Clarke with a cheque in recognition of his 34 years of service in Auckland, and gave him the good wishes of those present for his new in Melbourne.
