Dyer, 3. Underhand Chop, 15in block—M. J. Nash (Tangiteroria). 21s, 1; Pera Herewini (Pipiwai), 7s, 2; M. Griffen (Titoki), ss, 3. Time, lm 23 3-ss. 14in Standing Chop—M. Griffen, 1; W. Paul. 2; M. J. Nash, 3. Time, 50s. Griffen won by two seconds. A protest was lodged, and the judges were unable to arrive at a decision. The matter has been referred to the Northern Athletic Union for a ruling.
