Donald Sellers Reaches Australia
LOCATED DEFINITELY HUSBAND “SMILES GRIMLY” Donald Sellers, sawmiller, late of New Plymouth, who disappeared so mysteriously from Auckland, leaving his wife ticket- ' less and alone on the Aorangi, has been located definitely. On May 14 he stepped ashore from the Maunganui at Sydney, having made the trip from Wellington a few days after he was missed in Auckland. Tile previous day The Sun announced alter an inquiry that Seilers was believed to be on the Maunganui. The Wellington office of the Union Company had reported that a man of that name had sailed for Sydney on the previous Friday. When Mr. Donald Sellers stepped ashore from the Maunganui at Sydney, the mystery of his disappearance in Auckland was partially solved, says the Sydney “Sun ” He refused to comment on his movements. Mr. Sellers smiled grimly when asked to comment on his disappearance. The only emotion he expressed was that of surprise when he learned that a report of the matter had reached Sydney. Mrs. Sellers arrived in Auckland yesterday on the Niagara. She boarded the ship at Suva after dis embarking from the Aorangi. She was surprised and distressed a: finding that her husband was not wait, ing for her in Auckland, as she imagined that he had missed the Aorangi because of some delay. Informed by her solicitor that a letter from her husband awaited her at New Plymouth, she loft for the South immediately.
