Man Punished In the Wanganui Supreme Court today Mr. Justice Ostler sentenced William Percy Old to* 18 months’ imprisonment. the terms to be concurrent, on each of two charges of indecent assault on girls aged —P.A. Consuls and Vises The difficulty experienced by merchants sometimes in setting documents signed by Consuls was discussed by the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, which considered the question of vises should be delegated to the Collector of Customs, an impartial authority. It was resolved to approach the Prim** Minister with this suggestion. Stolen Oil The premises of A. W. Bryant and Co., coal, lime, cement and shingl. merchants, were broken into during the night, and a tin of kerosene ami a c&s oi motor spirit stolen. The theft occurred in the firm's storon the Xelson Street Wharf. The in truders had forced open the door and decamped with the goods.
