MONTY BANKS AT BRITANNIA

Once again the management of the Britannia Theatre keeps its policy of first-class entertainment pictures for patrons, in this instance with “WeekEnd Comedy,” in which Monty Banks is seen in the feature role.

Entrancing in its comedy element of matrimonial mix-ups, this picture is said to be Bank’s best picture to date. It was made at the British International Studios at Elstree in England, by Harry Bachman, and has one of the strongest supporting casts yet seen in any British picture. The east includes Jameson Thomas, Annette Benson, Estelle Brody and George Gee, and many others. Picture-:*oers w\o like good wholesome comedy will enjoy “Week-End Comedy.” “Hangman’s House,” the second feature, is the film based on Donn Byrne’s great story of Irish life. Victor McLaglen is the star.
