ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
CLUB FORMED AT WHANGAREI (From Our Own Correspondent) WHANGAREI, Friday. An Association Football Club was formed at Whangarei last night. A friendly match will be played against Hikurangi on May 25. Efforts are also being made to secure a suitable ground at Whangarei. Officers elected were: Patron, Dr. J. G. Campbell; president, Mr. IT. B. Bruwnrigg; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. Kean, Clarke and D. L. Smedley; secretary, Mr. R. Jennings; treasurer, Mr. McCullough; Management Committee, Messrs. Greenhalgh, Calder, Crimp, Hancock and Pitney; selectors, Messrs. Brownrigg, Calder and Greenhalgh.
