NEW TEACHERS
EDUCATION BOARD’S APPOINTMENTS The appointment of two new head teachers has been authorised by the Auckland Education Board. Mr. H. McCowan will take a position at Waihou School and Mr. J. Jack will be the new schoolmaster at Tlorotiu. Other appointments made by The board are: Secondary Assistants. —Miss A. G. Plummer, 8.A., Waihi D.H.S. Assistant Masters.—Mr. J. A. McDonald, Frankton: Mr. F. Reid, New Lynn; Mr. H. C. Gibson, Mount Albert. Infant Mistresses.—Miss C. M. Finder, Thames Central. Assistant Mistresses.—Miss J. Durrieu, Maungawhau; Miss A. I. McGinley,'Napier Street; Miss M. I. Calvert, Mercer; Miss R. A. Martin, Kinohaku No. 2; Miss E. P. Meek, Motukaraka; Miss K. Johnson, Papatoetoe; Miss J. P. Murray, Taumarunui D.H.S.; Miss K. Barker, Kamo.
