PIE-STALL TRAGEDY
ANOTHER REMAND ON MURDER CHARGE POLICE SEEK WITNESS WELLINGTON, Today. Eric: Matthews, petty officer on H.M.S. Diomede, was again before the court today on the charge of murdering John Stevens. The police were granted a further remand for a week, the chief detective assuring the court that, if the witness they were looking for could be found, the case would then proceed.
