ROYAL AUCKLAND CHOIR
FIRST CONCERT, THURSDAY WEEK Au excellent programme has been arranged by the Royal Auckland Choir for the first concert of the new season which will be given in the Town Hall on Thursday week. In adidtion to part songs by the choir, the following soloists will assist: i Miss Xaomi Whallev, of Palmerston ! Xorth, Mr. Trevor Thomas, of AVanga- | nui and Air. Ronald C. Muston, of ; ! Auckland (violin)*
“His Captive Woman.” with Dorothy MacKail! and Milton Hills, is adapted from the story by Donn Bvme entitle-; “Changeling." and will be released In New Zealand shortly. Powerfully dramatic. the rugged personality of Sills is ideally suited to the leading role.
