MAORI’S DEATH
MOTOR LORRY TRACED PATUMAHOE FATALITY The police have traced the driver of a motor-lorry supposed to have struck and killed Samuel Walker, a Maori, who was found lying dead on the road at Patumahoe last Wednesday evenWalker had the left side of his head and body badly injured and death was supposed to have been instantaneous. Detective-Sergeant Bickerdike has been in charge of Investigations. The inquest on the deaceased will be resumed.
